 Dancer and actress Malavika Krishnadas tied the knot with Thejus Jyothi, a mechanical engineer who was her co-contestant on the reality show Nayak Nayakan. The wedding ceremony was held at the Elamakara Bhaskariam Convention Centre in Kochi, where Malavika looked stunning in her red wedding saree and jewelry.

Malavika gained popularity through her participation in various dance reality shows such as Super Dancer, Dance Dance, and Nayika Nayakan. The latter show aimed to discover new acting talent and aired on Mazhavil Manorama. Malavika and Thejus both acted in the movie 'Thattinpurathu Achuthan' after the reality show ended. They claim that their decision to get married was not a result of falling in love, but rather because they knew each other well.

Malavika has also acted in the lead role of the TV serial Indulekha, which was broadcasted on Surya TV, and has become popular as a presenter. Her marriage to Thejus was a result of their acquaintance on Nayika Nayakan. Malavika documented the entire process of the bride-seeing ceremony and groom visits on her YouTube channel, and the videos of the mehndi ceremony went viral.

When asked if she fell in love with Thejus after watching him dance, Malavika denied it. They first met at the Nayika Nayakan audition, where they were both dancing. Malavika explained that she chose Thejus because she felt he was a good person. Recently, she was a participant in the reality show Dancing Stars, which is broadcasted on Asianet.
